Des Khoo, Acting Director
Des leads the Assurance function and is part of ISA's leadership team. With over 20 years’ experience in strategic infrastructure planning, Des has worked in both public and private sectors to provide front-end advice on project feasibility and aligning strategic needs with the right project outcomes. He has extensive experience in the development of robust business cases, infrastructure prioritisation frameworks and assurance frameworks, across State and Commonwealth jurisdictions. Des holds tertiary degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering with Honours and in Science, and is an OGC accredited gateway reviewer.
Sarah Veitch, Assurance Manager
Sarah is an accomplished Assurance Review Manager with considerable asset management and project management experience across a broad range of infrastructure. Sarah has worked in both the public and private sectors, holds a Bachelor of Building with Honours and a Graduate Certificate in Facilities and Asset Management and is an OGC accredited gateway reviewer.
Benjamin Cooper, Assurance Manager
Ben has extensive experience in urban planning, housing and urban development. He has worked in the hydrocarbon and geothermal exploration sector, holds tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning and Project Management and is an OGC accredited gateway reviewer.
Julia Smethurst, Assurance Manager
Julia has a background in project and asset management, with experience spanning a range of infrastructure classes. She has worked extensively in the property industry in the private sector and across local and state public sectors.
She holds a Bachelor of Management and Graduate Diploma in Regional and Urban Planning and is a Certified Associate in Asset Management.
Tagy Mo, Assurance Officer
Tagy holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Finance degrees, is a Chartered Accountant with a strong financial analysis background and an OGC accredited Gateway Reviewer.
Tagy has broad experience working on projects across different sectors such as infrastructure, transport, planning, arts and culture, education and health.
Russell Madre Deus, Assurance Coordinator
Russell is an accomplished project and operations manager with over 10 years of international experience in the private sector.
Russell has completed a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Australia and is certified as a PMP® (Project Management Professional) by the Project Management Institute.
