The Riverbank Precinct draft master plan comes at a time when Adelaide is rapidly evolving into a city with an enormous future. The riverbank is one of the most underutilised visual identities of South Australia and seeing it reach its potential as a cultural and social hub is a priority.
The draft master plan will further enhance the developments we have already supported including the upgrade of Adelaide Oval, the extension of the Adelaide Convention Centre and construction of the new Royal Adelaide Hospital. Our aim is to create a place that is memorable, vibrant and ultimately South Australian.
Adelaide Oval Redevelopment
Early construction works on the $535m redevelopment of Adelaide Oval have started following the awarding of a construction contract to Baulderstone Pty Ltd.
Adelaide Oval will be redeveloped as a multi-purpose, multi-sport stadium that will become the home of football and cricket in this State.
