Adelaide Riverbank Precinct
The Riverbank Precinct is one of Adelaide's iconic public spaces, offering panoramic views across the River Torrens, the North Adelaide Parklands, Adelaide Oval and Memorial Drive. It is situated at the heart of Adelaide and fulfils a special role in the life of the city.
The Riverbank Precinct master plan will guide how we transform this special part of our city into a great place and destination for everyone. A place that's alive – day and night all year round.
Preparatory work on the centre piece of Adelaide’s world-class Riverbank Precinct – the Riverbank Bridge - has commenced. This includes site establishment and service relocations.
To protect the safety of workers and the public, fencing will be erected around the work zone on both sides of the river.
Access to the Riverwalk (north of the Dunstan Playhouse) will be available until 17 March after which time users will be directed to the Riverbank Promenade and the Adelaide Festival Centre complex. On the northern side users of the shared path will also be detoured around the site.
Directional signage will be placed to explain these temporary access arrangements.

Adelaide Oval Redevelopment
Construction of the $535m redevelopment of Adelaide Oval have started following the awarding of a construction contract to Baulderstone Pty Ltd.
Adelaide Oval will be redeveloped as a multi-purpose, multi-sport stadium that will become the home of football and cricket in this State.
